Leave it to Al Gore to invent a new kind of journalism. Current is a cable station and online community where people share stories, news headlines, videos, opinions, art and so much more. I joined as a Current Journalist last year, and have submitted lots of original videos and stories. I have been chosen to be a quasi Portland spokesman, meaning I get to dig up interesting things about my city and share them with the world. Check it out.

Tintin

I have great memories of sitting by the fireplace at my grandparents house and reading old copies of Tintin with my cousins. It is a Belgian comic that follows the international adventures of Tintin and his quirky crew. I have attached a portion of The Red Sea Sharks. I also recently got a tattoo of Tintin’s ‘Explorers on the Moon’.

A dream that Edward O. Wilson had, the Encyclopedia of Life aims to document all 1.8 million species of living organisms on this little planet we call Earth. The ambitious project has been very popular, and a visit to the site will show you just how detailed the information is.
